Roos Pijpers is Assistant Professor in Human Geography at the Department of Geography, Planning and Environment of Radboud University in Nijmegen. Her research interests include social and cultural diversity, minority integration and active citizenship. Recent research projects are DIVERSE (2013-2015), which investigates local practices to foster the skills recognition of immigrants, and Ageing in Integrated Service Areas (2010-2013), on neighbourhood-based initiatives to support frail older adults who live independently.
